A Big Welcome to: Tracey Owen Business Development Executive

Secure Power is delighted to welcome a new member of the team, Tracey Owen. With more than 25 years’ experience in the business/commercial insurance industry, Tracey will be a key asset in ensuring customers are protected against every imaginable threat scenario. We have asked Tracey a few questions below about her previous work experience and her new role at Secure Power:
Could you tell us a bit about yourself?
I have spent over 25 years in the business / commercial insurance industry and managed client’s insurance programmes, ensuring they are suitable for their business in the face of adversity, value for money, and peace of mind. My focus has been on client servicing, technical policy wording reviews, auditing and checking, risk management, business continuity plans, and ensuring claims are dealt with efficiently, so the business continues to run.
What will you be doing daily at Secure Power?
I am developing new business opportunities and new clients for Secure Power. I research prospects and opportunities and contact them, providing details of Secure Power’s products and services. I make appointments for Secure Power to visit prospects and talk to them about how we can benefit their company. I will be working on the maintenance and servicing checks that Secure Power provide together with the Health Checks as well as the UPS, generators, and fire suppression products. I will account manage and service clients once they are secured as new business for Secure Power.
Could you share any of your hobbies and interests?
My hobbies and interests include watching football, and I’m a huge Sheffield United fan, but try to watch as much football as possible! I enjoy walking in Derbyshire and other areas at the weekends, going to the cinema, attending the gym, fishing, watching cricket, going away for weekends, and seeing bands. Also, I’m involved with a charity that provides a recovery service to people with various addictions such as gambling, drug addiction, alcoholism, etc. My part of the charity is to conduct administration activities, assisting charity’s various meetings, social media, events, and much more, but the whole experience is exceedingly fulfilling and rewarding.
Keep up to date with all things
