The Importance of Maintenance Service Plans
By achieving our ISO 9001 certification, Secure Power Ltd are able to demonstrate to customers and suppliers that the systems we have in place meet the high standards set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). To gain the ISO 9001 certification, Secure Power Ltd had to demonstrate our dedication and commitment to meeting our customers’ needs, operating efficient management processes and delivering consistent, good quality products and services.
Each year, an external Audit is carried out by a third party to ensure our systems are maintained and any non-conformances are noted for correction. Operations Manager of Secure Power Ltd, Peter Phillips, said: We are really pleased to see that the processes and management we have in place are up to the high standards set out by ISO 9001. It serves as recognition for the hard work and dedication we put in every day to ensure we deliver the best quality and service to our customer. Quality has always been our main focus, in an industry that is becoming more and more crowded by cheaper alternatives it is good to gain recognition for the high quality of the service we offer. As the fastest growing company in our industry during 2015 to maintain the same rate of growth through 2016 it is good to see that customers still value quality over price.
Martin Figg, the QMS Consultant who assessed them against the requirements of the standard said: “Secure Power are now better placed to identify and react to risks and opportunities in the business. They already run the business in a process driven way, but the ISO 9001 will enable them to build on their key processes and particularly ensure they are able to evidence things like improvement and learning – providing assurance to their customers of continual improvement.”
On Secure Power’s staff, Martin noted that they were “very keen to fully embrace the ethos behind ISO 9001 for the benefit of the company and customers”.
