Employee of the Month – Tristan Oselton
Tristan joined us in September 2018, making him our fifth apprentice choosing to start their career with Secure Power. Tristan is full of energy and always ready to help his colleagues. His commitment to helping others was recognised by the office, and it came as no surprise when Tristan won Employee of the Month. We asked Tristan a few general questions about his role at Secure Power and winning the award.
Tell us about your role at Secure Power?
I’m an After-Sales Support Apprentice and my daily duties include setting up quotes, establishing sizes of UPS and generators, organising deliveries, and much more.
What do you most enjoy about your role?
I enjoy arriving at the office and knowing that I will have another great day, because everyone in the office is close to each other, and activities outside work help us to bond. We go out to have drinks, dinner, play bowling, pool, football, tennis, etc.
How do you feel being recognised as Employee of the Month?
Honoured. I feel honoured that my colleagues have recognised my hard work, which now acts as a fuel for motivation to do even better. This award helped me to set-up expectations higher for myself, and I will work hard to prove to everyone that their vote wasn’t wasted.
