Employee of the Month: Lewis Wheelhouse
Secure Power has developed an ‘Employee of the Month’ programme, where each member of staff votes for the person they think most deserves winning the prize. The rule of voting is that people need to justify their reason for nominating someone. So, the first winner of Employee of the Month is Lewis Wheelhouse! Lewis has consistently shown 100% commitment, high standards of work, and always helps his colleagues when needed.

How long have you worked at Secure Power now?
It will be 3 years in August.
Tell us about your role and what you do on a daily basis.
Senior Estimation and Procurement Officer, responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the Estimation Team and managing projects from start to finish. The Estimation Team ensure all projects are quoted efficiently and accurately, and make sure all customer orders are completed within agreed timescales.
What do you most enjoy about your role?
Finding solutions to unique customer requirements and problem-solving to ensure deadlines are met.
Any plans of how you going to use your Employee of the Month prize?
With England’s mighty effort in the World Cup, it’s safe to say the cash reward didn’t last long! It has been spent and some great memories made.
